1 Reason For

Epson Multimedia Projectors Have Good Reviews

Epson projectors have good reviews on average and across all projectors Epson is one of the superior brands.

5 Reasons Against

Does Not Support 3D Image Projection

The Epson EB-485 does not support 3D image projection, unlike most of the other projectors that have been on the market for around the same time as the EB-485.

Alternative data projectors which also support 3D image projection that you might want to look at include the PowerLite Home Cinema 5030ub ($2,995.00), or the PowerLite Pro G6900WU both from Epson or the Benq W7000+ which also has a higher rating.

Does Not Have a Built-In Speaker

The Epson EB-485 does not have a built-in speaker. Most of the other projectors of this spec and age also do not have a built-in speaker.

Other projectors which also have a built-in speaker that you might also want to consider include the Acer H7531D.

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

Most data projectors of a comparable age and spec to the EB-485 do not support Full HD projection. The Epson EB-485 is no exception to this as it too does not support Full HD projection.

We compared all the other multimedia projectors which also support Full HD projection to this projector and we think the Benq W7000+, or the Panasonic PTAE7000U which is also higher rated is also worth considering.

Does Not Support WiFi Connectivity

Like most of the other multimedia projectors of this type and age, the Epson EB-485 does not support WiFi connectivity.

It is worth also looking at alternative data projectors which also support WiFi connectivity including the Vivitek Qumi Q7, or the Benq GP20.
