Very Bright Projector Brightness

Latest 3000:1 contrast ratio projectors have projector brightness of between 2,700 ANSI lumens and 10,000 ANSI lumens. With a projector brightness of 10,000 ANSI lumens, the EIKI LC-HDT1000 has a very bright projector brightness compared to most of the other comparable spec multimedia projectors that are a similar age to the LC-HDT1000.

Does Not Support WiFi Connectivity

The LC-HDT1000 does not support WiFi connectivity, although it is worth keeping in mind that most of the other 3000:1 contrast ratio projectors that are a similar age to the LC-HDT1000 also do not support WiFi connectivity.

There are a number of alternative multimedia projectors which also support WiFi connectivity that you might also want to look at including the Sony VPL-SX631 ($1,141.52).

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

The LC-HDT1000 does not support Full HD projection, although keep in mind that most of the other 3000:1 contrast ratio projectors that were released in the last 12 months also do not support Full HD projection.

Does Not Support 3D Image Projection

Most new 3000:1 contrast ratio projectors do not support 3D image projection. The LC-HDT1000 is no exception to this as it too does not support 3D image projection.

Very Short Lamp Service Life

The lamp service lives of multimedia projectors that have been available for around the same time as the LC-HDT1000 range from 3,000h to 6,000h. The EIKI LC-HDT1000 has a fairly short lamp service life (only 3,000 hours) compared to most of the other latest projectors.

Quite Loud Noise Level

At 39 decibels, the EIKI LC-HDT1000 has a fairly loud noise level compared to most of the other projectors that have been on the market for the last year. Across all the data projectors that are a similar age to the LC-HDT1000 the noise levels range from 21dB to 41dB, and the average noise level is 33dB.

If you don't mind having a louder noise level then you might also want to look at the VPL-SW631 ($1,216.21) (28dB), or the VPL-SW636C ($2,499.00) (28dB) both from Sony.
