7 Reasons For

Only Released Four Months Ago

Being released just four months ago, this EIKI projector is likely to use more advanced technology.

Supports Full HD Projection

Unlike most of the other projectors that have been available for around the same time as the EK-402U which do not support Full HD projection, the EK-402U supports Full HD projection.

We think you might also be interested in some of the alternative projectors which support Full HD projection currently available including the Sony VPL-HW45ES ($1,629.99), the Epson EH-TW6700W, or the Optoma GT5500 ($1,351.35) which is cheaper.

Supports 3D Image Projection

Like most of the other recently released projectors, the EIKI EK-402U supports 3D image projection.

It may also be worth also looking at one of the other projectors which support 3D image projection currently available including cheaper data projectors such as the Viewsonic PRO8510L ($1,315.00), the Epson EH-TW6700W, or the Optoma GT5500 ($1,351.35).

Has a Built-In Speaker

The EIKI EK-402U has a built-in speaker. Most of the other projectors that are a comparable age to the EK-402U also have a built-in speaker.

There are a number of other projectors with a built-in speaker currently available that you might want to look at including cheaper data projectors such as the PRO9510L ($1,499.99), or the PRO8510L ($1,315.00) both from Viewsonic or the Epson EH-TW6700W.

WUXGA (1920x1200) Native Projector Resolution

The highest resolution of the EK-402U is WUXGA (1920x1200). That's 11% more resolution than a 1080p (1920x1080) data projector, which is the most frequently found resolution.

A WUXGA (1920x1200) native projector resolution is actually the best resolution amongst all similar spec multimedia projectors that have been on the market for a comparable time to the EK-402U.

The worst resolution amongst similar types of multimedia projector is SVGA (800x600).

1920 X 1200 (WUXGA) Graphics Resolution

The EIKI EK-402U supports a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA). That's over seven times the resolution of a 640 x 480 (VGA) data projector, which is the most common resolution supported by projectors that came out in the last year. 640 x 480 (VGA) is also supported by this multimedia projector. In addition, this projector support graphics resolutions of 800 x 600 (SVGA), 1024 x 768 (XGA), 1280 x 1024 (SXGA), 1280 x 768 (WXGA), 1280 x 800 (WXGA), 1360 x 768 (WXGA), 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+), 1440 x 900 (WXGA+) and 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) and 1680 x 1050 (WSXGA+).

This projector's resolution (1920 x 1200 (WUXGA)) is in fact the best supported resolution across all recently released comparable spec projectors.

A 640 x 480 (VGA) graphics resolution is the worst supported resolution across similar types of projector.
