The EIKI EK-400X has a built-in speaker, as do most of the other recently released similar spec multimedia projectors.

Other projectors with a built-in speaker currently available that you might want to look at include the EIKI EK-401W[plb_3798176_price], or the Optoma GT5500[plb_3451140_price] which is cheaper.

Fairly Bright Projector Brightness

The average projector brightness of data projectors that have been available for the last year is 3,800 ANSI lumens, and the projector brightness range from 37 ANSI lumens to 8,000 ANSI lumens. At 5,500 ANSI lumens, the EK-400X has a quite bright projector brightness compared to most of the other similar spec data projectors that are a comparable age to the EK-400X.

The highest resolution supported by the EK-400X is 1600 x 1200 (UXGA). That's over six times the resolution of the most frequently found graphics resolution of 640 x 480 (VGA) (which is also supported by this projector). This multimedia projector also support graphics resolutions of 800 x 600 (SVGA), 1024 x 768 (XGA), 1280 x 1024 (SXGA), 1280 x 768 (WXGA), 1280 x 800 (WXGA), 1360 x 768 (WXGA), 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+) and 1440 x 900 (WXGA+) and 1680 x 1050 (WSXGA+). The resolution of all projectors that have been around for a comparable time to the EK-400X ranges from 640 x 480 (VGA) (worst) to 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) (best).

Most latest multimedia projectors do not support Full HD projection. The EK-400X is no exception to this as it too does not support Full HD projection.
