Good Picture Quality

Several customers agreed that the Casio XJ-M141 had good colour saturation. Expert website Pcmag.com gave it a rating of 70 out of 100 and said in their review of the Casio XJ-M141 last year “The Casio Signature XJ-M141 yields bright colors for a DLP projector”.

Has a Built-In Speaker

The Casio XJ-M141 has a built-in speaker, as do most of the other projectors that have been available for more than two years.

We compared this projector to all the other projectors with a built-in speaker and we think a cheaper multimedia projector such as the Casio XJ-M246 or you might consider a better rated multimedia projector such as the XJ-A142 ($712.99), and the XJ-A242 ($1,048.99) both from Casio are also worth considering.

Quite Quiet Noise Level

Across all the 1800:1 contrast ratio projectors that were launched more than two years ago the noise levels range from 31dB to 39dB, and the average noise level is 34dB. The XJ-M141 has one of the quieter noise levels (only 33 decibels) amongst 1800:1 contrast ratio projectors of this age.

We compared this projector to all the other 33dB noise level multimedia projectors and we think a cheaper multimedia projector such as the Casio XJ-M246 or you might consider a higher scoring multimedia projector such as the Casio XJ-M156 are also worth considering.

The Casio XJ-M141 has a fairly quiet noise level in economy mode (only 28 decibels) compared to most of the other projectors that have been on the market for around the same time as the XJ-M141. Does Not Support WiFi Connectivity

The Casio XJ-M141 does not support WiFi connectivity. Most of the other 1800:1 contrast ratio projectors that were released more than two years ago also do not support WiFi connectivity.

There are a number of alternative projectors which also support WiFi connectivity that you might want to look at including the Casio XJ-M246 or the Casio XJ-A147.

Does Not Support 3D Image Projection

The XJ-M141 does not support 3D image projection, although this is within the context that most of the other projectors of a comparable type and age to the XJ-M141 also do not support 3D image projection.

We compared this multimedia projector to all the other data projectors with a 3D image projection and we think the Casio XJ-M146 is also worth considering.

The average projector brightness of 1800:1 contrast ratio projectors that were launched more than two years ago is 3,100 ANSI lumens, and the projector brightness range from 400 ANSI lumens to 6,000 ANSI lumens.
