The SX-6000 has a quite bright projector brightness (6,000 ANSI lumens) compared to most of the other 1000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been available for a comparable time to the SX-6000. Projectors that came out around the same time as the SX-6000 have projector brightness of between 55 ANSI lumens and 8,500 ANSI lumens, and the average projector brightness is 2,800 ANSI lumens.
