1920 X 1080 (HD 1080) Graphics Resolution

The Blusens PJL66 supports a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 (HD 1080). That's over six times the resolution of a 640 x 480 (VGA) multimedia projector, which is the most common resolution supported by data projectors of a comparable spec and age to the PJL66. 640 x 480 (VGA) is also supported by this data projector. This multimedia projector also supports a graphics resolution of 1280 x 720 (HD 720).

A 1920 x 1080 (HD 1080) graphics resolution is actually the best supported resolution across all 11000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been on the market for a similar time to the PJL66.

Across comparable types of multimedia projector the worst supported resolution is 640 x 480 (VGA).

If the resolution of this Blusens data projector is too low for you then you might want to also look at the P1383 ($314.99) (1024 x 768 (XGA and higher rated), 1280 x 1024 (SXGA and higher rated), 1280 x 768 (WXGA and higher rated), 1280 x 800 (WXGA and higher rated), 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+ and higher rated), 1440 x 900 (WXGA+ and higher rated), 1600 x 1200 (UXGA and higher rated), 1680 x 1050 (WSXGA+ and higher rated), 1920 x 1080 (HD 1080 and higher rated), 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA and higher rated), 640 x 480 (VGA and higher rated), 800 x 600 (SVGA and higher rated) and higher rated), or the X1173 (1280 x 768 (WXGA and higher rated),1280 x 800 (WXGA and higher rated),1440 x 900 ( and higher rated) both from Acer or the NEC M420 (720 x 480,720 x 576,832 x 624,1152 x 870,1280 x 768,1280 x 800,1366 x 768,1440 x 900,1600 x 900,1024 x 768 (XGA and higher rated),1152 x 864 (XGA+ and higher rated),1280 x 1024 (SXGA and higher rated),1280 x 720 (HD 720 and higher rated),1360 x 768 (WXGA and higher rated),1400 x 1050 (SXGA+ and higher rated),1600 x 1200 (UXGA and higher rated),1680 x 1050 (WSXGA+ and higher rated),1920 x 1080 (HD 1080 and higher rated),640 x 480 (V,1280 x 960,1280 x and higher rated).

Does Not Support WiFi Connectivity

Most of the data projectors that were launched more than a year ago, including the Blusens PJL66, do not support WiFi connectivity.

We compared this projector to all the other projectors with a WiFi connectivity and we think the PPX3610, or the [pl_2162800] both from Philips or the Aiptek PocketCinema V150W are also worth considering.

Only VGA (640x480) Native Projector Resolution

The Blusens PJL66 has a maximum resolution of VGA (640x480). That's 70% less resolution than a WXGA (1280x800) projector, which is the most frequently found resolution. Across all one year old projectors the worst resolution is nHD (640x360) and the best is DCI 4K (4096 x 2160).

We think you might also be interested in different multimedia projectors that have a resolution of VGA (640x480) including a better rated product such as the Genius BV180, the Aiptek MobileCinema i55, or the Favi Entertainment LED-2.

If the resolution of this Blusens multimedia projector is not high enough for you then you might want to also look at the Gigabyte BRIX Projector (WVGA (854x480 and higher rated) and higher rated), or the Hitachi CP-S240 (SVGA (800x600 and higher rated) and higher rated).
