1600 X 1200 (UXGA) Graphics Resolution

The Benq W700+ supports a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 (UXGA). That's over six times the resolution of the most common graphics resolution of 640 x 480 (VGA) (which is also supported by this projector). This multimedia projector also supports a graphics resolution of 1280 x 720 (HD 720). Across all projectors that have been available for more than two years the worst resolution is 640 x 480 (VGA) and the best is 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA).

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

Like most of the other data projectors of this type and age, the Benq W700+ does not support Full HD projection.

We compared this projector to all the other data projectors with a Full HD projection and we think the Benq W7000+ ($1,995.00), or the Panasonic PT-RZ470 ($3,659.99) which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.

Does Not Support WiFi Connectivity

Most similar spec multimedia projectors that have been available for more than two years do not support WiFi connectivity. The Benq W700+ is no exception to this as it too does not support WiFi connectivity.

The lamp power of projectors that have been available for around the same time as the W700+ range from 20W to 420W. With a lamp power of only 190 Watts, the Benq W700+ has a fairly small lamp power compared to most of the other projectors of this type and age.

If this projector projector brightness is too dim for you then you might want to look at the 5020UB (2,400 ANSI lumens), or the EH-TW9000 (2,400 ANSI lumens) both from Epson or the Panasonic PT-AT6000E (2,400 ANSI lumens) which is also higher rated.
