A number of people reckoned that this projector had good picture quality. Cwar rated it 80 out of 100 and mentioned in October last year “Superb image quality and works well with 3D for home Cinema”. Jimbob81 mentioned on Amazon this year “I have a 3.5M screen of excellent image quality and the ST aspect means the Kids can still play Wii, etc without any shadows on the screen” in their review. Also this year Mr R Galypchak said “I can say that I am very satisfied with the picture quality I get”.
Four customers who purchased it considered that it had good colour saturation. Amazon Customer said on Amazon two years ago “What's more, even using the factory settings, I'm conscious that the colours are far more vivid” in their review. Raj said in their review of the Benq W1080 on Amazon “I decided to go for this as the wisdom of the crowd suggested that the colours are better out of the box”. Digitalversus.com rated the product 5 stars and said on Digital Versus “The W1080ST has all the same advantages as the W1070 (faithful colours, high contrast, flawless 3D.)” in their Benq W1080 review.
Two Benq W1080 owners who purchased this projector agreed that it had image ghosting. Mr. A. J. Nolan mentioned “It was a bit less impressive with some ghosting” in their review.
One person who purchased it considered that it was good for watching movies. Last year River__s mentioned “More for movies and special series, Game of Thrones springs to mind! Saying that watched Top Gear” and scored it very highly.
One person considered that this projector was good for playing games on. Scf said in October this year “Excellent PJ, grandson loves using it for gaming” in their review. One person thought the Benq W1080 was good for watching standard definition TV.
