Benq 13000:1 contrast ratio projectors have good ratings on average and across all data projectors Benq is one of the better rated brands.

Good Picture Quality

Three customers wrote in their reviews that this projector had good picture quality.

Good Product Quality

A few people who reviewed it reckoned that it was good quality. Pcmag.com said on expert review site PC Mag “It offers good data image quality and usable video”. Pcmag.com also mentioned “Provides good data image quality”.

Good 3D Picture Quality

Several Benq MW721 reviewers wrote in their reviews that it had a good 3D picture quality. Three years ago expert website Pcmag.com mentioned in their review “It is 3D ready” although they only gave it a rating of 60 out of 100. It Reviews.com said on IT Reviews.com “3D capable”.

Good Connectivity

A number of Benq MW721 reviewers who reviewed the product agreed that it was good in terms of connectivity. Pcmag.com wrote on expert website PC Mag “Has a decent range of connectivity choices, though it lacks a USB type A port for connecting to a USB thu”.

Supports 3D Image Projection

The Benq MW721 supports 3D image projection, as do most of the other multimedia projectors that were released around the same time as the MW721.

The Benq MW721 has a built-in speaker. Most of the other 13000:1 contrast ratio projectors that came out more than two years ago also have a built-in speaker.

We think you might also be interested in some of the other projectors with a built-in speaker currently available including because of it's better review score, the MW851, or the MX620 both from Benq or the Optoma ES556.

Quite Bright Projector Brightness

At 3,500 ANSI lumens, the Benq MW721 has a quite bright projector brightness compared to most of the other projectors that are a comparable age to the MW721. Comparable spec projectors that were released more than two years ago have projector brightness of between 800 ANSI lumens and 4,200 ANSI lumens.

Alternative 3,500 ANSI lumens brightness data projectors currently available which you might want to look at include the Optoma DH1011 ($806.62), or the Acer P1276 which has better reviews.

Projectors with a brighter projector brightness that might be worth looking at include the MX768 ($1,899.00) (4,000 ANSI lumens), or the MW769 ($1,099.00) (4,200 ANSI lumens) both from Benq which also has a higher rating.

The highest resolution of the Benq MW721 is WXGA (1280x800). That's 30% more resolution than the most common native projector resolution of XGA (1024x768).

This data projector's resolution (WXGA (1280x800)) is actually the best resolution across all data projectors of this type and age.
