One Benq MW523 owner said that it was not easy to use the menus. Lb 1 said in their review of this projector on Amazon two years ago “The picture quality is great! Very bright and clear, there are not many settings only brightness”.

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

The Benq MW523 does not support Full HD projection, although it is worth keeping in mind that most of the other 13000:1 contrast ratio projectors that are a similar age to the MW523 also do not support Full HD projection.

With a projector brightness of 3,000 ANSI lumens, the Benq MW523 has a relatively standard projector brightness compared to most of the other projectors of a similar spec and age to the MW523.

We compared this projector to all the other 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness projectors and we think the MW817ST[pl_1414729_price], and the MX520[pl_1462832_price] both from Benq or the Optoma ES556[plb_1818226_price] which has better reviews is also worth considering.

If this data projector projector brightness is too dim for you then you might want to look at the S1283[pl_2575478_price] (3,100 ANSI lumens), or the S1383[pl_2711752_price] (3,100 ANSI lumens) both from Acer or the Benq MX600[plb_2024731_price] (3,200 ANSI lumens) which is also higher rated.
