Benq has good average ratings for its 13000:1 contrast ratio projectors as well as across its entire data projector range.

Good 3D Picture Quality

Two people who purchased it reckoned that it had a good 3D picture quality. Jonah wrote in his Benq MS521 review “On the DVD/ Blu Ray/ 3D, JUST Great” . Expert website Itreviews.com said two years ago “It also offers some advantages over the Epson EX3212, notably an optical zoom and full support for 3D with so” but despite that they gave the product a rating of 2 stars.

Easy to Use

One Benq MS521 reviewer who reviewed this projector considered that it was easy to use the menus. Jonah mentioned “The functionality/ menus are great” in his review of this projector.

Supports 3D Image Projection

The Benq MS521 supports 3D image projection. Most of the other 13000:1 contrast ratio projectors that came out around the same time as the MS521 also support 3D image projection.

It may also be worth also looking at one of the other multimedia projectors which support 3D image projection currently available including the MS502[pl_1385309_price], or the MS517[pl_1463623_price] both from Benq or the Optoma DS325[plb_1920804_price] which has better reviews.

Has a Built-In Speaker

Like most of the other multimedia projectors of this spec and age, the Benq MS521 has a built-in speaker.

We compared all the other multimedia projectors with a built-in speaker to this data projector and we think because of it's better review score, the MS502[pl_1385309_price], and the MS517[pl_1463623_price] both from Benq or the Optoma DX325[plb_1915714_price] is also worth considering.

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

The Benq MS521 does not support Full HD projection. Most of the other 13000:1 contrast ratio projectors that have been available for a comparable time to the MS521 also do not support Full HD projection.
