Supports WiFi Connectivity

The Benq GP30 supports WiFi connectivity. Most of the other projectors that have been around for around the same time as the GP30 do not support WiFi connectivity.

There are a number of alternative projectors which support WiFi connectivity currently available which you might also want to consider including the Optoma W305ST which is cheaper.

Has a Built-In Speaker

The Benq GP30 has a built-in speaker, unlike most of the other comparable spec projectors that have been available for more than two years which do not have a built-in speaker.

We think you might also be interested in some of the alternative projectors with a built-in speaker currently available including the Optoma W305ST which is cheaper; or the Optoma GT1070, or the LG PA1000 which has better reviews.

Supports 3D Image Projection

The Benq GP30 supports 3D image projection, as do most of the other projectors of a comparable age and spec to the GP30.

We compared all the other data projectors which support 3D image projection to this projector and we think because of it's better review score, the Optoma GT1070, and the LG PA1000 is also worth considering.

Other projectors which also support 3D image projection that you might want to look at include the Sony VPL-HW40ES.

The Benq GP30 supports a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 (UXGA). That's over six times the resolution of a 640 x 480 (VGA) multimedia projector, which is the most common resolution supported by projectors that have been available for around the same time as the GP30. 640 x 480 (VGA) is also supported by this projector.
