The Acer S1283 supports Full HD projection. Most of the other projectors of this age and spec do not support Full HD projection.

There are a number of alternative projectors which support Full HD projection currently available which you might also want to consider including the Benq MS504 ($308.99) which has better reviews.

Has a Built-In Speaker

The Acer S1283 has a built-in speaker, as do most of the other projectors of a comparable type and age to the S1283.

We compared all the other projectors with a built-in speaker to this projector and we think the MS619, and the MS504 ($308.99) both from Benq which has better reviews is also worth considering.
