One customer who reviewed the Acer S1210 said that it was not good in terms of connectivity. Expert website Alphr.com mentioned “Connectivity is limited.” in their review of this projector nonetheless they still scored it 4 stars.

Does Not Support WiFi Connectivity

Like most of the other projectors of this age and spec, the Acer S1210 does not support WiFi connectivity.

There are a number of alternative projectors which also support WiFi connectivity which you might want to look at including the L51W, or the NP-P451 ($1,451.18) both from NEC or the Panasonic PT-VX505NE which is also higher rated.

Does Not Support 3D Image Projection

The Acer S1210 does not support 3D image projection, although keep in mind that most of the other 4000:1 contrast ratio data projectors that have been around for more than two years also do not support 3D image projection.

We think you might also be interested in other projectors which also support 3D image projection including the NEC L51W, the Optoma HD6720, or the Infocus IN114ST which also has a higher rating.

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

Like most of the other projectors of this type and age, the Acer S1210 does not support Full HD projection.

It is worth considering alternative projectors which also support Full HD projection including the CP-A222, or the CP-A302WNM both from Hitachi or the Panasonic PT-VX500 which also has a higher rating.

The projector brightness of projectors of a similar age and spec to the S1210 range from 500 ANSI lumens to 13,000 ANSI lumens. With a projector brightness of only 2,500 ANSI lumens, the Acer S1210 has a quite dim projector brightness compared to most of the other 4000:1 contrast ratio data projectors that were released more than two years ago.

If you are looking for a multimedia projector with a brighter projector brightness then you might want to look at the PT-LX270 (2,700 ANSI lumens), or the PT-LW271 ($594.95) (2,700 ANSI lumens) both from Panasonic or the Optoma HD6720 (2,700 ANSI lumens) which is also higher rated.

A bright lamp and colourful DLP technology make the S1210's image vibrant and the short throw ratio is useful, but you need to position the projector accurately and it's expensive...
