Four years ago Steveb wrote in their review “Reducing fan noise, which doesn't degrade the picture.I've ceiling mounted it” and scored it very highly. One customer who bought the product considered that it was quiet. Steveb mentioned on Amazon “The projector is quiet in normal operation, in my set up it's right above my head”.

The Acer P1303 does not support 3D image projection. Most of the other projectors of a comparable spec and age to the P1303 also do not support 3D image projection.

We compared this projector to all the other multimedia projectors with a 3D image projection and we think the Benq W710ST , or the Vivitek Qumi Q2 which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.
