3 Reasons For

Good Brand

Acer projectors have good ratings on average and across all projectors Acer is one of the better rated manufacturers.

Supports 3D Image Projection

The Acer P1223 supports 3D image projection. Most of the other projectors of a comparable age and spec to the P1223 also support 3D image projection.

There are a number of alternative data projectors which support 3D image projection currently available which you might want to look at including the Benq W7000+ which has better reviews.

Quite Bright Projector Brightness

At 3,200 ANSI lumens, the Acer P1223 has a quite bright projector brightness compared to most of the other projectors that have been around for around the same time as the P1223. The dimmest projector brightness of projectors that have been on the market for a comparable time to the P1223 is 300 ANSI lumens, the brightest is 9,200 ANSI lumens, and the average projector brightness is 2,900 ANSI lumens.

If this projector projector brightness is not bright enough for you then you might also want to consider the Viewsonic PJD6544W (3,500 ANSI lumens and higher rated), or the Panasonic PT-RZ470 ($3,659.99) (3,500 ANSI lumens and higher rated).

4 Reasons Against

Does Not Have a Built-In Speaker

There are a number of other projectors which also have a built-in speaker that you might also want to consider including the Acer H7531D.

Does Not Support Full HD Projection

Most projectors of a similar type and age to the P1223 do not support Full HD projection. The Acer P1223 is no exception to this as it too does not support Full HD projection.

We compared this multimedia projector to all the other multimedia projectors with a Full HD projection and we think the Benq W7000+, or the Panasonic PTAE7000U which is also higher rated is also worth considering.
