Seven Acer H6517BD owners who reviewed it agreed that it was good quality. Daniel Westwater gave this projector an excellent review score and he mentioned “Top Quality 1080p Short Throw Projector” in his Acer H6517BD review. Last year David G. Vale rated it 80 out of 100 and he wrote “Using the eco mode - it does lose a star for the sound quality from the speaker - as others have said this is really poor” in his review of this projector. Denis Dal Lago wrote in his review of the Acer H6517BD “The fan is a bit noisy” but even so he still rated the product as very good. Denis Dal Lago also said “It doesn't particularly bother me, still if you set the power saving mode on you can roughly halve the noise coming from it at the cost of some brightness”. Ozzy wrote “Makes a horrible screeching noise” in their review.
