It may also be worth also looking at one of the other projectors with a built-in speaker currently available including because of it's better review score, the Benq GP2 ($505.08), or the Favi Entertainment J5-PICO-HD ($604.98).

Very Narrow

The widths of battery powered projectors that were released more than two years ago range from 4mm to 490mm, and the average width is 120mm. The 3M MP225 is fairly narrow (only 26 millimeters) compared to most of the other battery powered projectors that were released around the same time as the MP225.

Most battery powered projectors that have been around for a similar time to the MP225 do not support WiFi connectivity. The 3M MP225 is no exception to this as it too does not support WiFi connectivity.

The 3M MP225 supports a maximum resolution of 1440 x 900. That's 33% less resolution than a 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) multimedia projector, which is the most frequently found resolution supported by multimedia projectors of a comparable type and age to the MP225. This 3M data projector also support graphics resolutions of 832 x 624, 1280 x 960, 1024 x 768 (XGA), 1280 x 768 (WXGA), 1440 x 900 (WXGA+) and 640 x 480 (VGA) and 800 x 600 (SVGA).

Average Maximum Battery Life

At 2 hours, the 3M MP225 has a fairly average maximum battery life compared to most of the other multimedia projectors of this spec and age.

We compared all the other 2h maximum battery life multimedia projectors to this projector and we think the Philips PPX3610 which has better reviews is also worth considering.

Projectors with a longer maximum battery life that might also be worth looking at include the LG PG60 (2.5h) which also has a higher rating.
