The HP 440 has an SSD storage medium which is faster than most similar spec computers that have been available for around the same time as it. Most new similar spec personal computers have an HDD storage medium. Solid State Drives (SSD) store information in transistors on a circuit board rather than on optical or magnetic media. This has the advantage of being much faster than a traditional HDD drive.
An SSD storage medium is in fact the best storage speed amongst all recently released medium processor core computers.
The worst storage speed across similar types of computer is HDD.
We compared this PC to all the other SSD computers and we think the Precision T5810, and the Precision T5810 both from DELL or the HP 440 MT ($4,293.00) which is cheaper is also worth considering.
