The Asus CN60 has an SSD storage medium which is faster than most desktop computers that have been on the market for a comparable time to it. Most few processor core personal computers that were released one year ago have an HDD storage medium. Solid State Drives (SSD) store information in transistors on a circuit board rather than on optical or magnetic media. This has the advantage of being much faster than a traditional HDD drive.
An SSD storage medium is actually the best storage speed amongst all PCs of a similar type and age to the CN60.
An HDD storage medium is the worst storage speed across comparable types of desktop computer.
We compared all the other SSD personal computers to this computer and we think the HP Chromebox ($129.98) which is cheaper; or the Asus UN42 which has better reviews are also worth considering.
