The ViewZ VZ-27 has a built-in speaker, which is unusual. Most of the other similar spec LCD screens that have been around for more than two years do not have a built-in speaker.

Fairly Wide Horizontal Viewing Angle

With a horizontal viewing angle of 178 degrees, the ViewZ VZ-27 has a quite wide horizontal viewing angle compared to most of the other LCD screens of a similar age and spec to the VZ-27. Across all the similar spec flatpanel monitors that have been on the market for around the same time as the VZ-27 the horizontal viewing angles range from 60° to 180°, and the average horizontal viewing angle is 170°.

If you want a PC screen that is 3D compatible then you might want to consider the AOC D2769, or the Asus VG236.

Does Not Have a Built-In Camera

The ViewZ VZ-27 does not have a built-in camera, although it is worth noting that most of the other PC displays of this age and type also do not have a built-in camera.

We compared this LCD screen to all the other PC displays with a built-in camera and we think the 272P4QPJKEB, or the 241P4QPY both from Philips is also worth considering.

Does Not Have an Integrated Card Reader

The ViewZ VZ-27 does not have an integrated card reader. Most of the other PC monitors of a similar age and spec to the VZ-27 also do not have an integrated card reader.

It is worth also looking at other PC monitors which also have an integrated card reader including the U2713H ($682.40), or the U2413 ($442.20) both from DELL or the Acer DA220 which also has a higher rating.
