It was over three years ago when Sharp released the PN-K321.

LCD Display Type

The PN-K321 has an LCD display type which is better than the LED display type found on most similar spec flatpanel monitors that are a comparable age to it.

There are a number of other PC displays that have an LCD Display currently available that you might want to look at including because of it's better review score, the Sony LMD-2110W ($799.00), the DELL U3011, or the HP L2445w.

If the display type of this medium monitor is too bad for you then you might want to look at the ColorEdge CG277 ($1,999.00) (LED and higher rated), or the ColorEdge CG247 (LED and higher rated) both from Eizo or the NEC MultiSync EA304 ($1,680.39) (LED and higher rated).
