Most medium monitors that were released more than two years ago do not have an integrated card reader. The MultiSync MD242C2 is no exception to this as it too does not have an integrated card reader.

We compared this LCD screen to all the other flatpanel monitors with an integrated card reader and we think the U2713H ($682.40), or the U2413 ($450.99) both from DELL or the Acer DA220 which is also higher rated is also worth considering.
