The iiyama E2280HS has a built-in speaker, unlike most of the other flatpanel monitors of a similar age and type to the E2280HS which do not have a built-in speaker.

We compared all the other LCD screens with a built-in speaker to this PC screen and we think the Hanns.G HS221 which has better reviews; or the HKC 2265A which is cheaper are also worth considering.

Has Four Cables Included

The E2280HS has a greater number of cables included than most PC monitors of a comparable type and age to it. This LCD screen has an AC cable included, which is the most commonly found cable included found on medium monitors that were released around the same time as the E2280HS. The cables included "Audio (3.5mm)", "DVI" and "VGA" are also found on this PC display.

Poor Support

One iiyama E2280HS owner wrote in their reviews that it did not have good technical guidance. Mr. Peter Marchese he wrote “Very limited operating instructions, I have yet to find out how to operate the internal speakers”.

Unacceptable Noise Level

One customer wrote that it was not noisy. Damian Gasior wrote on Amazon “The speakers are not loud enough-do not why exactly”.

Not 3D Compatible

Like most of the other medium monitors that have been available for a similar time to the E2280HS, the iiyama E2280HS is not 3D compatible.

PC monitors which are 3D compatible that might be worth considering include the HP LP2065 which is also higher rated.
