This PC screen has an LED display type, which is the most frequently found display type on medium monitors that have been on the market for more than a year.

This flatpanel monitor has an average expert rating of 60% based on two expert reviews from sites including macobserver.com and prad.de. The expert review sites don't rate this LCD screen very highly.

Does Not Have a Built-In Speaker

The HP Z27s does not have a built-in speaker. Most of the other medium monitors that have been around for a comparable time to the Z27s do have a built-in speaker.

We compared this PC monitor to all the other flatpanel monitors with a built-in speaker and we think the iiyama XB2779QS-W1, the Benq BL2711 ($435.99), or the Acer BX320HK is also worth considering.

Does Not Have a Built-In Camera

Like most of the other medium monitors that came out around the same time as the Z27s, the HP Z27s does not have a built-in camera.

We compared all the other LCD screens which also have a built-in camera to this PC display and we think the Philips 241P6VPJKEB which is also cheaper is also worth considering.

Not 3D Compatible

Like most of the other PC screens of a comparable spec and age to the Z27s, the HP Z27s is not 3D compatible.

PC screens which are 3D compatible that might also be worth looking at include the Asus PG278Q ($475.99).

Does Not Have an Integrated Card Reader

Most medium monitors that have been on the market for more than a year do not have an integrated card reader. The HP Z27s is no exception to this as it too does not have an integrated card reader.

It is worth also looking at other flatpanel monitors which also have an integrated card reader including the Benq SW2700PT ($599.00) which also has a higher rating.

The average viewable size diagonal of medium monitors that have been available for more than a year is 560mm, and the viewable size diagonals range from 260mm to 870mm.
