We compared all the other LCD screens that have an LED Display to this PC display and we think the LG 29UM55 which is cheaper; or the iiyama XB2780HSU ($320.68), and the Benq XL2430 ($252.99) which has better reviews are also worth considering.

HP Has Good Reviews for Its PC Displays

Medium monitors built by HP have good ratings on average compared to other brands. We also checked the reviews for all flatpanel monitors (not just medium monitors) and found that HP also has good ratings across its entire range.

Narrow

The HP W2072a is one of the narrower medium monitors that were released around the same time as the W2072a (only 477.3 millimeters) amongst medium monitors of this age. PC screens of this spec and age have widths of between 50mm and 6,500mm.

Does Not Have a Built-In Speaker

The HP W2072a does not have a built-in speaker. Most of the other medium monitors that were released around the same time as the W2072a also do not have a built-in speaker.

We compared all the other flatpanel monitors which also have a built-in speaker to this flatpanel monitor and we think the Acer CB290C or the NEC MultiSync EA244 ($1,049.00) are also worth considering.

Not 3D Compatible

The HP W2072a is not 3D compatible, although it is worth keeping in mind that most of the other PC monitors that have been available for more than two years are also not 3D compatible.

If you would prefer an LCD screen that is 3D compatible then you might also want to consider the Philips 272G5 ($400.00), or the Asus VG278 ($422.07) or the Asus VG27AH.

Does Not Have a Built-In Camera

Most PC displays of a similar type and age to the W2072a do not have a built-in camera. The HP W2072a is no exception to this as it too does not have a built-in camera.

It is worth also looking at other LCD screens which also have a built-in camera including the HP EliteDisplay S231 ($289.00) or the 271P4QPJ ($263.13), or the 272P4 ($586.99) both from Philips.

The HP W2072a does not have an integrated card reader, although it is worth noting that most of the other medium monitors that have been available for more than two years also do not have an integrated card reader.

It is worth considering alternative PC displays which also have an integrated card reader including the U2413 ($442.20), or the U2713H ($682.40) both from DELL or the Acer DA220 which is also higher rated.
