LED Display Type

This PC monitor has an LED display type, which is the most frequently found display type on new medium monitors.

There are a number of other flatpanel monitors that have an LED Display currently available which you might want to look at including the iiyama GE2488HS-B2 which is cheaper; or the Samsung S24C450B which has better reviews.

HP Flatpanel Monitors Have Good Reviews

Medium monitors manufactured by HP have good ratings on average compared to other manufacturers. We also checked the reviews for all flatpanel monitors (not just medium monitors) and found that HP also has good ratings across its entire range.

Narrow

Across all the PC displays that were launched in the last year the widths range from 370mm to 900mm, and the average width is 590mm. At only 507.6 millimeters, the HP VH22 is fairly narrow compared to most of the other recently released medium monitors.

Flatpanel monitors with a wider width that might be worth looking at include the Philips 221S6LCB (511mm), the iiyama E2282HV (505mm), or the Acer B226WL ($145.87) (505.8mm) which is also cheaper.

With a weight of only 2.8 kilograms, the HP VH22 is fairly light compared to most of the other comparable spec PC monitors that have been on the market for the last year. The lightest recently released medium monitor is 2.6g weight, the heaviest is 21kg, and the average weight is 4.7kg.

The HP VH22 is not 3D compatible. Most of the other latest medium monitors are also not 3D compatible.

The HP VH22 does not have a built-in camera, although keep in mind that most of the other recently released flatpanel monitors also do not have a built-in camera.

We think you might also be interested in alternative flatpanel monitors which also have a built-in camera including the Lenovo T2224 ($271.84) which is also cheaper.
