Several DELL P2815Q reviewers who purchased the product thought it did not have a good refresh rate. Last year Mr M Ferguson wrote on Amazon “Ignore the reviews complaining about the 30HZ refresh rate at 4k or mouse delay unless you are a gamer”. Simon Dawson mentioned on Amazon “Refresh rate is not a problem at all (even under overhead fluorescents) as I don't play games on it” yet he scored the product 5 stars.

One person who purchased it thought it did not have good colour saturation. Adigra rated this PC monitor 2 stars and said in their review of this PC monitor “Colours are also not great”.

Does Not Have a Built-In Speaker

The DELL P2815Q does not have a built-in speaker, although this is within the context that most of the other similar spec LCD screens that came out around the same time as the P2815Q also do not have a built-in speaker.

We compared all the other PC screens which also have a built-in speaker to this PC display and we think the Fujitsu B24W-7, the Asus MX299 ($297.99), or the Philips 288P6 which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.

Flatpanel monitors which are 3D compatible that might also be worth looking at include the BL2710, or the XL2720 both from Benq or the Acer XB280HK ($550.99) which is also higher rated.

Easy to install. comes with decent instructions. no defects noted
Extremely cheap
Unless you plan on using SLI, RAID or other fancy stuff, this has all the basics you'd need
Manual has everything neatly laid out and explained, plugging everything is a breeze
Very good and easy to use BIOS
Doesn't come ready for Windows 10. Tech email is slow. Bios updating software is not very good
Watch out when plugging things into the SATA ports. At least one of them is so close to the PCIE slot that, if you want to put a graphic card in there, you WILL have to use another port
Make sure you like your RAM and don't plan on changing it. Once the graphic card goes in, you're not touching those RAM modules without taking out the graphic card
This has more to do with my motherboardcase combo, but the placement of the ATX and EPV Power slots are not the best, especially if you are using an ATX case and have maximum fans installed. The spots
