Benq Flatpanel Monitors Have Excellent Reviews

We calculated the average ratings for all Benq PC displays and also specifically for Benq medium monitors and found that in both cases Benq had excellent ratings compared to other manufacturers.

Nice Design

One customer concluded that it was a good design. Two years ago Amazon Customer wrote on Amazon “This model has a nicer design for the buttons making it easier to turn off” in their review.

LED Display Type

This PC display has an LED display type, which is the most frequently found display type on medium monitors that have been on the market for a comparable time to it.

There are a number of alternative PC monitors that have an LED Display currently available that you might also want to look at including because of it's better review score, the Asus VS239 ($125.99), or the iiyama B2283HS.

Has a Built-In Speaker

The Benq GW2265 has a built-in speaker, which is unusual. Most of the other medium monitors that have been around for around the same time as the GW2265 do not have a built-in speaker.

It may also be worth considering one of the other flatpanel monitors with a built-in speaker currently available including because of it's better review score, the Viewsonic VA2445.

We compared this flatpanel monitor to all the other PC monitors with a built-in speaker and we think the AOC E2370, or the Asus VN248 ($122.99) is also worth considering.

Fairly Wide Vertical Viewing Angle

Across all the similar spec PC monitors that have been on the market for more than two years the vertical viewing angles range from 50° to 180°. At 178 degrees, the Benq GW2265 has a quite wide vertical viewing angle compared to most of the other medium monitors that have been on the market for around the same time as the GW2265.

If you are not worried about having a wider width then you might want to look at the Samsung LS22C300 (510mm and cheaper).

Inferior Picture Quality

One Benq GW2265 owner who bought the Benq GW2265 thought it did not have good colour saturation. William Morrison rated this PC monitor 1 stars and he mentioned on Amazon two years ago “Below average quality picture, viewing from any angle rather than directly in front of screen is impossible, colours poor” in his review.

Poor Product Quality

One Benq GW2265 owner who reviewed it concluded that it was not good quality. William Morrison he mentioned in his Benq GW2265 review on Amazon two years ago “I will never consider Benq again, bargain basement quality”.

Not 3D Compatible

Like most of the other flatpanel monitors that are a similar age to the GW2265, the Benq GW2265 is not 3D compatible.

PC displays which are 3D compatible that might be worth considering include the HP LP2065 which also has a higher rating.

Most LCD screens that were launched around the same time as the GW2265 do not have a built-in camera. The Benq GW2265 is no exception to this as it too does not have a built-in camera.

We compared all the other PC screens which also have a built-in camera to this PC screen and we think the HP Compaq LA2206 which also has a higher rating is also worth considering.

Bought one of these to try out then decided to go for a second one to have dual monitor configuration. Both are very nice monitors but the colour match between them is not that great.
