7 Reasons For

Excellent Brand

Benq has excellent average reviews for its medium monitors as well as across its entire flatpanel monitor range compared to other manufacturers.

LED Display Type

This LCD screen has an LED display type, which is the most commonly found display type on similar spec flatpanel monitors that have been on the market for a comparable time to it.

We think you might also be interested in some of the alternative PC screens that have an LED Display currently available including the LG 27MP55 which has better reviews; or the Philips 221B3LPC, or the Viewsonic VA2855 ($199.51) which is cheaper.

7 Reasons Against

Does Not Have a Built-In Speaker

Most comparable spec PC displays that have been around for more than two years do not have a built-in speaker. The Benq GL2760 is no exception to this as it too does not have a built-in speaker.

It is worth also looking at other LCD screens which also have a built-in speaker including the AOC i2769 ($179.75), or the Acer G276HL ($143.99); or the Acer S236.

Not 3D Compatible

The Benq GL2760 is not 3D compatible, although keep in mind that most of the other similar spec flatpanel monitors that were released around the same time as the GL2760 are also not 3D compatible.

If you are looking for an LCD screen that is 3D compatible then you might also want to consider the Benq XL2411 ($245.99), the Acer XB240H, or the Asus VG248QE ($207.99) which is also higher rated.

Does Not Have a Built-In Camera

The Benq GL2760 does not have a built-in camera. Most of the other similar spec LCD screens that were launched around the same time as the GL2760 also do not have a built-in camera.

We compared this PC screen to all the other flatpanel monitors with a built-in camera and we think the Asus Vk248h ($183.99) or the Philips 231P4Q ($266.03) are also worth considering.
