Easy to Use
A number of customers who bought the product considered that it was easy to setup. Jm wrote on Amazon “Very good Monitor, clear & easy to setup”. Zakk mentioned “Easy to set up and plenty of options for customising the colour, brightness etc” and rated the product as very good.
Two customers who reviewed it reckoned that it was easy to use. Jeremy Kn Ight wrote on Amazon last year “Easy to use and it is good”.
Good Product Quality

LCD Display Type
The Asus VE198 has an LCD display type which is better than the LED display type found on most PC screens of a comparable age and spec to it.
We compared this PC display to all the other flatpanel monitors that have an LCD Display and we think because of it's better review score, the LP1965[pl_1529003_price], and the Compaq LE1711[pl_2213421_price] both from HP is also worth considering.
PC screens with a better display type that might be worth considering include the Asus VS197[plb_1445370_price] (LED and cheaper).
With a width of 445 millimeters, the Asus VE198 has a pretty standard width compared to most of the other PC displays of this spec and age.
Other PC screens with a wider width that you might want to look at include the Benq GL955A[plb_1538862_price] (459mm), the Philips 196V4L[plb_1526331_price] (443mm), or the DELL P1913[plb_1454275_price] (443.8mm).
