The Acer B296CL is a one USB Type-A downstream port flatpanel monitor. Most of the other medium monitors that have been on the market for more than two years have between one and five USB Type-A downstream ports.

Not 3D Compatible

Like most of the other medium monitors that were launched more than two years ago, the Acer B296CL is not 3D compatible.

Flatpanel monitors which are 3D compatible that might be worth considering include the BL2710, or the XL2720 both from Benq or the Acer XB280HK ($556.99) which also has a higher rating.

We compared all the other PC displays which also have a built-in camera to this PC screen and we think the 272P4 ($586.99), or the 271P4QPJ ($263.13) both from Philips which is also higher rated is also worth considering.

Alternative LCD screens that have an LCD Display currently available which you might want to consider include because of it's better review score, the Asus VG278 ($422.07), the DELL U2410, or the iiyama B2776HDS.

If you would prefer a flatpanel monitor with a better display type then you might also want to consider the Fujitsu P24W-7 (LED and cheaper); or the AOC G2770 ($299.99) (LED and higher rated).
