The 242HQLB is not 3D compatible, although it is worth keeping in mind that most of the other medium monitors that have been on the market for the last year are also not 3D compatible.

We compared all the other flatpanel monitors which also have a built-in camera to this PC screen and we think the Lenovo X1 ($59.99) which is also higher rated is also worth considering.

Does Not Have an Integrated Card Reader

Most medium monitors that have been around for the last year do not have an integrated card reader. The Acer 242HQLB is no exception to this as it too does not have an integrated card reader.

It is worth also looking at other flatpanel monitors which also have an integrated card reader including the 2407WFP, or the 2408WFP both from DELL which is also higher rated.
