This portable PC has an HDD storage medium, which is typical of many comparable spec notebook PCs that came out around the same time as it. HDD is a traditional storage drive which stores the information on magnetic disks. HDD drives are slower than other forms of storage such as solid state drives (SSD) and flash drives.
We compared all the other laptops that have an HDD storage media to this laptop and we think cheaper notebook PCs such as the HP Probook 430 G2, and the Toshiba C55 ($374.99) is also worth considering.
If the storage medium of this Toshiba portable PC is too bad for you then you might also want to look at the Fujitsu LifeBook A544 (SSD and cheaper), or the HP EliteBook 820 (SSD and cheaper).
