The editors of three expert review sites thought that this portable PC was good. This notebook PC received a "Highly Recommended" award from Apcmag.com, confirming their endorsement and Hardwarezone.com.ph conluded that they would recommend it and gave it a "Recommended" award. Additionally, the editor of Hardwarezone.com.sg gave this portable PC an "Innovative Design" award and decided it was carefully designed.

This notebook PC received an "Editor's Choice" from Log.com.tr who said that this 2 in 1 laptop was terrific.

Two more expert review sites both wrote that this Sony laptop was good. 01net.com gave this portable PC a "4 Star" award and it received a "Best Quality" award from Pcformat.pl.

Nice Design

Some Sony VAIO Duo 11 reviewers who purchased it concluded that it was good looking. Expert review site Techradar.com mentioned “The release of Windows 8 has heralded a host of new stylish tablets that make a pleasant change from the bland anonymous slates which have come to represent the Android market” in their Sony VAIO Duo 11 review. Techradar.com also mentioned “It has a gorgeous Full HD screen, 128GB of storage, full connectivity”. Expert review site Channelpro.co.uk rated the product 80 out of 100 and said “The problem is that, while ingenious and beautifully formed, Sony’s decision to go the true convertible tablet route has forced it to compromise” in their review.

Two customers who bought it agreed that it was ergonomic.
