The Lenovo Yoga has an HDD storage medium which is better than most 2 in 1 laptops that have been available for around the same time as it. Most similar spec laptops that were launched around the same time as it have an SSD storage medium. HDD is a traditional storage drive which stores the information on magnetic disks. HDD drives are slower than other forms of storage such as solid state drives (SSD) and flash drives.
An HDD storage medium is actually the worst storage medium across all comparable spec laptops that came out around the same time as the Yoga.
The best storage medium amongst similar types of laptop is SSD.
We think you might also be interested in some of the other laptops that have a Hybrid-HDD storage media currently available including because of it's better review score, the Yoga, or the Flex 2 both from Lenovo or the DELL Inspiron 13.
If you are looking for a laptop with a better storage medium then you might want to look at the DELL XPS 12 (SSD) which also has a higher rating.
