The Lenovo Yoga has an HDD storage medium which is better than most notebook PCs that are a comparable age to it. Most comparable spec portable PCs that have been available for around the same time as it have an SSD storage medium. HDD is a traditional storage drive which stores the information on magnetic disks. HDD drives are slower than other forms of storage such as solid state drives (SSD) and flash drives.
An HDD storage medium is in fact the worst storage medium amongst all comparable spec laptops that came out more than two years ago.
The best storage medium across similar types of laptop is SSD.
There are a number of alternative notebook PCs that have an HDD storage media currently available which you might also want to consider including cheaper notebook PCs such as the Yoga, or the Flex 14 both from Lenovo or the Toshiba W30t.
If the storage medium of this Lenovo notebook PC is too bad for you then you might also want to look at the Fujitsu Stylistic Q702 (SSD), or the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro (SSD) which is also cheaper.
