Most medium processor core laptops that are a comparable age to it support a 133MHz processor memory clock speed. In addition, this portable PC supports 1 and 333MHz processor memory clock speeds. Across all medium processor core laptops that were released more than a year ago the worst memory clock speeds supported by processor is 133MHz and the best is 1,866MHz.

SSD Storage Medium

The Lenovo T550 has an SSD storage medium which is better than the HDD storage medium found on most medium processor core laptops that are a comparable age to it. Solid State Drives (SSD) store data in semiconductors on a circuit board rather than using magnetic or optical media. Solid State Drives have no moving parts which makes them very fast and reliable.

This laptop's storage medium (SSD) is actually the best storage medium across all notebook PCs that have been available for more than a year.
