The HP Elitebook 820 G2 has an SSD storage medium which is better than the HDD storage medium found on most medium processor core laptops that have been around for a similar time to it. Solid State Drives (SSD) store data in semiconductors on a circuit board rather than using magnetic or optical media. Solid State Drives have no moving parts which makes them very fast and reliable.
An SSD storage medium is actually the best storage medium across all medium processor core laptops that have been available for around the same time as the Elitebook 820 G2.
Across comparable types of portable PC the worst storage medium is HDD.
We compared this notebook PC to all the other portable PCs that have an SSD storage media and we think the 13Z940, and the 13Z940 both from LG or the DELL Latitude 12 E7250 which has better reviews is also worth considering.
If the storage medium of this portable PC is too bad for you then you might also want to consider the Acer Aspire S7-393 (SSD), or the DELL Latitude 14 E7450 (SSD).
