Across all the medium processor core laptops that were launched around the same time as the XPS 13 the processor clock speeds range from 0.8GHz to 3.3GHz. At 2.4 gigahertz, the DELL XPS 13 has a quite fast processor clock speed compared to most of the other laptops of a similar spec and age to the XPS 13.

We compared this notebook PC to all the other 2.4GHz processor clock speed portable PCs and we think the Lenovo ThinkPad E540, the HP ENVY 15, and the DELL Inspiron 17 5000 which is cheaper is also worth considering.

The average battery life of laptops of a similar type and age to the XPS 13 is 8.7h, and the battery lifes range from 2.5h to 33h. At 11 hours, the DELL XPS 13 has a fairly long battery life compared to most of the other portable PCs that came out around the same time as the XPS 13.

We compared this laptop to all the other 11h battery life laptops and we think cheaper notebook PCs such as the DELL XPS 13 is also worth considering.
