Some Acer Chromebook C720 owners who reviewed the product considered that it was lightweight. Last year Maximumpc.com said in their review of this laptop “Lightweight and ultraportable”. Two years ago expert review site Beginnerstech.co.uk mentioned “I bought the Acer C720 Chromebook as I wanted a smallish lightweight laptop to carry around with me on my trips” in their review of this laptop and rated it 5 stars.

A few customers who purchased it considered that it was thin. Maximumpc.com said last year “Thinner and lighter than before”. Three years ago Techreviewsource.com gave it a rating of 80 out of 100 and mentioned “The Acer C720 Chromebook (C720-2800) is an evolution of Acer's C7 Chromebook line, in a redesigned thinner and lighter chassis”.
