A number of Sony DSC-W690 owners who bought the Sony DSC-W690 considered that it was compact. Allenpops wrote on Amazon “Great compact camera, takes up little room in handbag” in their review and gave the Sony DSC-W690 a rating of 4 stars. Amazon Customer said on Amazon “Beacause I wanted something compact, without too many knobs, or the annoying function thingy that so many new cameras have on the top of them” in their Sony DSC-W690 review. Ephotozine.com said on expert website Ephotozine “The W690 packs a good amount of optical zoom into its compact body and is easily small enough to carry around in your pocket”.
