Good Product Quality

A few people wrote in their reviews that the product was good quality. Two years ago Absolutespirit said in their review of this digital camera on Amazon “Great image quality within its limits.”. Chriss mentioned on Amazon “For a select group of photographers who look for ultimate image quality in a fixed medium telephoto range with some close focussing ability” in their Sigma DP3 Merrill review. Sid wrote in his Sigma DP3 Merrill review “This is not your typical consumer camera instead it is one seriously superb camera that delivers the most amazing image quality” and rated it as very good.

Good Quality Pictures

Twenty-four people considered that it was able to produce good images. Barclay gave the Sigma DP3 Merrill a score of 5 stars and wrote in their review on Amazon “Absolutely stunning images even close in”. Barclay also said “Ignore the critics who are used to Lightroom this software is just as good and images exported as 16bit tiffs can then be worked on in Photoshop”. Jacquim9990 mentioned two years ago “Gee whiz! Mind blowing images!”.

Good Quality Lens

A few people wrote in their reviews that the Sigma DP3 Merrill had a good lens. Three years ago Sid said in his review of the Sigma DP3 Merrill on Amazon “What you get in return is IQ to die for! The combination of superb lens and foveon sensor result in the sort of images I have always dreamed of”. Pcmag.com mentioned on expert review site PC Mag “It has the longest lens of the bunch”. Imaging Resource.com said in their review of the Sigma DP3 Merrill “Sharp 1 3 macro lens”.

Nice Design

Some Sigma DP3 Merrill owners who reviewed the product concluded that it was good looking. Expert review site Digitalcamerareview.com said three years ago “They produce some of the most beautiful ima” however they gave the product a score of 60 out of 100. Digital-Photography-School.com said in the same month “While phone cameras are damned useful and most of them take pretty decent images, they fal” in their Sigma DP3 Merrill review.

One Sigma DP3 Merrill reviewer considered that it was not easy to handle. Barclay wrote on Amazon “You can still shoot while it's doing that and handling is no different from many other compacts” in their review of the Sigma DP3 Merrill however they still gave it a very good rating.

One person who reviewed it reckoned that it was not easy to use. Two years ago Trev-R said in their review of the Sigma DP3 Merrill “Difficult to use and either brilliant or terrible results”.
