Owners have rated this camera as outstanding on average. Most K-5 II owners think it is one of the better digital cameras of this type and age.

Good Quality Lens

A few Pentax K-5 II owners who bought it wrote that it had a good autofocus. Charliej wrote “Is far superior at high sensitivities as well as having more responsive autofocus” in their review. Del 58 said on Amazon “The new autofocus system gives much better results in all lighting conditions although it can take a little practice to get used to it” in their review and scored the product 5 stars. Del 58 also said “The only other downsides I can think of are the focus select button, which is has a lot of resistance”.

A few people thought the product had a good lens. Bengan scored the product very highly and wrote in their Pentax K-5 II review on Amazon “I substituted the usual kit-lens for a Sigma 17-70 HSM which is grate lens”. Del 58 said “Video looks great through an HD TV and still pictures are rich, full”. Mr. P.
