Easy to Use

A number of people mentioned in their reviews that the product was easy to use. Amazonshopper wrote in their review of the GE X500 three years ago “Whistles and very easy to use” and gave the product an excellent review. Robert Hogan wrote in his GE X500 review on Amazon “Easy to use and it takes wonderful pictures”. Robert Hogan also mentioned “How easy it was to use the camera and software that I bought her one of her own”.

Good Technical Features

A number of GE X500 reviewers who reviewed it reckoned that it had good features. Ralph Grier rated it 5 stars and he wrote three years ago “And I loved the features” in his review. Robert Hogan wrote “The software that comes with the camera is easy to use and has features not found with much more expensive cameras”. Robert Hogan mentioned in his review “A sturdy bridge camera with features you normally get only on a much more expensive camera”. Stormy1 wrote on Amazon “It worked very good, was speedy and took nice photos until I dropped it by mistake” in their review nonetheless they scored it 1 stars. Expert review site Etechreviews.com said in their GE X500 review five years ago “Earlier, in general having rugged laptops means getting a laptop filled with plenty of military-grade tradeoffs, which generally means that the laptop has to be of low-speed” .

Good Quality Pictures

Several people who bought it considered that it was able to produce good images. Alex scored it very highly and he wrote on Amazon “The pictures are so clear and detailed, even from a distance” in his GE X500 review. Amazonshopper wrote in their review “Produces great quality photos” and gave it an excellent review. Last year Frederick G. Catlin said in his GE X500 review “Does good on outdoor photographs”.

Stephen Legate said on Amazon three years ago “If you read the manual, you'll be fine.” in his review of this digital camera but in spite of that he gave the product a rating of 60 out of 100.
