I have not had the opportunity to take underwater pix but I have taken pix in the rain without fear that I was going to destroy my camera...

Auto settings work great. Camera automatically changes from Landscape - Portrait- Macro
Focus is great
Waterproof, tons of options, simple to use
Can work underwater for short-medium periods of time
Sturdy build
Auto mode sometimes makes bizarre choices, HDMI port didn't accept a plug, warranty is pretty much useless
Seal shrinks when exposed to saltwater, thus letting water in
Batteries die very quickly, and once it dies, USB doesn't work anymore
Fujifilm repair is disfunctional to say the least
