On average Canon compact camera digital cameras have good ratings compared to other brands as do all cameras built by Canon.

Good Quality Pictures

Two people said in their reviews that it was good in low light. In October Ephotozine.com said “Good low light imaging capabilities”. In October this year Steves-Digicams.com wrote in their review of this digital camera on Steve's Digicams “The SX540 HS features a 20.3 megapixel "High Sensitivity" CMOS image sensor mated to the DIGIC 6 image processor, which makes for strong performance in low light conditions”.

One customer reckoned that it had a good image sensor. A few weeks ago Ephotozine.com said on expert review site Ephotozine “It has a 20.3-megapixel sensor, compared to the 16-megapixel sensor of th” in their Canon PowerShot SX540 HS review.

Easy to Use

Several people who bought the product agreed that it was easy to use. In October Mr. Robert N. Pritchard gave the product a rating of 5 stars and he wrote in his review of this digital camera “Excellent! Very pleased with this as it is easy to use and takes amazing photographs”.
