Average Megapixel Count

The Canon EOS 650D - Rebel T4i has a pretty average megapixel count (18 megapixels) compared to most of the other SLR cameras that were launched more than two years ago.

It may also be worth also looking at one of the alternative 18MP digital cameras currently available including the EOS 600D - Rebel T3i[pl_1102050_price], or the EOS 60D[pl_1503709_price] both from Canon which has better reviews.

If this SLR camera megapixel count is not high enough for you then you might want to consider the Sony Alpha A58[plb_1611460_price] (20.1MP), the Canon EOS 6D[plb_1609271_price] (20.2MP), or the Nikon D5200[plb_1829432_price] (24.1MP) which is also higher rated.
