Good Quality Lens

Some customers reckoned that the Sony FDR-AX53 had a good image stabiliser. Dr. Michael Heron said in November “The on-board stabilisation software is absolutely excellent” . Gadget Man mentioned on Amazon “The image stabilisation is very powerful.”. Jgw89 mentioned in their review of this camcorder on Amazon “In both modes Stabilization is unbeatable when compared to my previous Panasonic”.

Three people who reviewed the product agreed that it had a good lens. Jgw89 gave the Sony FDR-AX53 an excellent rating and mentioned in November “This one has now introduced a native 16x9 aspect ratio along with the Carl Zeiss lens which provides wonderful detailed images - the detail is incredible vs HD”.

Some people mentioned in their reviews that the Sony FDR-AX53 had a good zoom. Gadget Man said in their review on Amazon “Wanders around at full zoom”. Mr. A. Nice Design

A number of Sony FDR-AX53 owners thought it was smooth. A few weeks ago Dr. Michael Heron wrote “When combined with a half-way reasonable tripod you'll get rock-solid smooth motion with minimal effort” in his review of the Sony FDR-AX53. Jgw89 said in their Sony FDR-AX53 review this month “While this model isn't 100% stable wheb fully zoomed it is smooth and watchable, rather than all over the place”. Also this month Martian Invader said on Amazon “I have a PJ620 with BOSS ( Balanced Optical Steady Shot ) which works great, giving smooth footage” in their Sony FDR-AX53 review.

Several people who bought the product concluded that it was good looking. Mr Carmine wrote in his review of this camcorder on Amazon a few weeks ago “The actual performance seems to be a step up from my old VX 870 which in itself was pretty good.” and gave it a rating of 4 stars. Mr Carmine also said “Other than that I am pretty pleased with the camcorder”.

Good Product Quality

Several Sony FDR-AX53 owners wrote in their reviews that it was good quality. A few weeks ago Jgw89 wrote “The audio quality is good with clear stereo quality in 4K”. This month Jonnie1266 wrote “Firstly, as ever in my experience with Sony it has a great feel of quality and build” in their review of this camcorder. Marcin Rucinski said in their Sony FDR-AX53 review on Amazon “Image quality is OK” but despite that they rated this camcorder 40 out of 100.

Easy to Use

A few Sony FDR-AX53 reviewers who bought the Sony FDR-AX53 thought it was easy to use the menus. Dr. Michael Heron rated the Sony FDR-AX53 as excellent and he said on Amazon “The flip-out LCD screen gives you a lot of control over the precise settings you want to make use of - the manual control options are fantastic”. Martian Invader gave it a rating of 5 stars and wrote in their review “You need to export these to software to make the actual video - much improved menu touch screen which is responsive - dual recording on the SD card”.

A few customers who reviewed it concluded that it was easy to use. Marcin Rucinski mentioned on Amazon “Because I wear glasses it is impossible to use” in their review however they gave this camcorder a rating of 2 stars. Good Connectivity
